Hello my name is Chuck Bumpus, I was saved when I was 6 years old. Some may say that is too young, but I can still remember the exact spot in our kitchen where we knelt down by a chair and I gave my heart to the Lord. Even though I haven’t been perfect God has been faithful.

I started hunting with my Dad at a very young age and I have so many good memories of those trips we took. When I had a son of my own I took him out hunting with me when he was just a little boy. There is nothing like being in the woods and watching God’s creation come alive early in the morning with your kids. My daughter went on her very first deer hunt with me at the age of 12. Both of my children are saved and I can’t be more grateful for that.

When I came across Rugged Cross Outdoors I thought it would be wonderful to be a part of something that I could use my passion for hunting and my love for Christ to reach out to others. What a wonderful ministry this is! May God bless it and use it to His glory.
